Each school year, PTA’s and other school organizations look for ways to raise funds. And each school year, restaurants are approached by these groups with donation requests for gift cards, food, and in some cases, money. Most restaurant managers and owners would like to fulfill every request but just can’t. If you are the school volunteer looking for donations from restaurants, I recommend approaching them from this angle instead: Offer to have one of their in-restaurant fundraising nights and use that as your negation tool to get what you’re looking for.
