Bru’s Room Sports Grill becomes First Sports Bar in South Florida to be Certified Kid-Friendly

“Bru’s Room was nominated by a mom as being kid-friendly. After our evaluation, we agreed,” said Barbara Gobbi, Director of Business Development of “Although they were already doing things that made them kid-friendly, they have completed their certification process and added more things that make them different from other dining establishments.”

As part of the certification process, restaurants add or change things about their kid’s menu, their service, and their activities they offer for families. Bru’s Room already offered a kid’s menu, but they added two healthy entrees, a grilled chicken breast and a pasta marinara dish. In addition, the new kid’s menu is more creative with engaging activities to entertain children of all ages.

The restaurant’s certification doesn’t stop there. They are reevaluated at timely intervals to make sure they continue their kid-friendly strategies. In addition, consumers can go to and choose the ‘rate a restaurant’ button to give reviews on whether or not the restaurant is doing a good job.
